Survey methods

The survey is over and I got a good response rate, approximately 30% of the orders filled in three business days.

Now to the difficult part, analyzing the data. I have suddenly discovered that I actually have about 20 some questions. And only one Depended Variable, a website satisfaction. Running regressions against that, trying to chi-test all of the variables is going to be a big chore.

I now think that the class itself was not structured well. We have 5 weeks to create a survey analyze it, and present a comprehensive report. I think that the class' concetration should have been more on what the data means and how to use it, than simply constructing the survey.

Truth of the matter is, there are professionals who do the survey, and if i was in the position where I needed one, I would get one of these people. While I understand the need for surveys in a business environment, I don't think that an MBA course needs to dwell to deep into the how, but more into the why and what to do about it.

When the review time comes for this class, I will certainly let them know what I think this class should be about.
