One of the offices at work was filled with shredded paper, lots of it. It took them 8 big bags to clear out that stuff. I had no idea we were shredding so much. This is a company that is supposed to bring paperless healthcare to the patients. My phone was smeared with some hand lotion. I discovered that about 11 o'clock when deciding to pick up my phone for the first time during the day. All I can say now is that I don't have dry skin on my left earlobe.

After watching The Bucket List : There is a scene in a movie where a little girl comes up to Jack Nicholson and smiles. My thought, you have to be a pretty brave kid to do what she did. Mr. Nicholson is a scary son of a bitch in that movie. Kudos to the girl. After watching another cop show : Why is it that cop-show writers feel that the correct way to finish a case is having a perp admit the guilt in the interrogation room. What is the message behind that? Do they not trust us to figure out the guilty party by the "evidence" the investigation amasses? Work related : for those classic ASP developers. Server 2003 does not like you to have an epmty global.asa file. It will throw a HTTP 500 Error, without an explanation. Better to not have a global.asa at all. Yo know why I hate coming back to work from vacation? It's the pile of crap that awaits for you to be taken care of. I am working from home today, due to a big snowfall again. And yes, I did say WORKING! I also gt a load of school work to do. Our adopt-a-culture has to more presentations. I think I am doing political implications of doing business in Russia. What the hell does that mean anyway?

Did I write about this? My mind is slipping. I've launched the survey and doctors, the lazy bastards they are, did not want to click and extra button to open up a new site. So what is a developer to do. I have re-created the survey on the website, with database hosted locally, and posted it inside ordering process, after the submit button but before the general thank you message. Result? I had more responses in one day, than in the three first days when the survey was hosted outside. GAH! So much time lost, I am very pissed at our customers. I mean common! The whole point of the survey was to get your feedback and make the site better, FOR YOU! I can't stand people who complain about something, but refuse to do something about it when given the opportunity, and somebody actually listens.
