Jason's Child of TV meme.

Thank you Mr. Bennion for this meme. Now I have been a victim of American televison for only a short period of time, less than 20 years actully. But I do watch a lot of television, always have and always will (unless they invent a technology where I can beam programming directly into my brain).

Without further delay, with some notes if a show is worthy of such:

Bold if I've seen the at least 3 episodes. Italics if I am pretty sure I watched every single one.

•24 - Never got around to watch it.
•7th Heaven
•ALF
Alias - Jack Bristow is the best super-spy there is, and an excellent father figure. Plus, Jenny Garner.
•American Gothic
•America’s Next Top Model - I know it might be shovinistic to the extreme, but whats not to like about a show with pretty girls, often enough in bikinis.
•Angel
•Arrested Development
Babylon 5 - Yes, I have seen all the episodes. I still occasionaly do on Hulu.
Batman: The Animated Series
Battlestar Galactica (the old one) - I did watch the reruns somwhere couple of times, but never caught on.
•Battlestar Galactica (the new one)
Baywatch - oh gees. One of the first "dramas" I have seen coming to the state. Pamela Anderson running...
Beverly Hills 90210 (original) - yes I did.
•Bewitched
Bonanza - watched seevral reruns. The theme song has been stuck in my head for 20 years now.
•Bones - a lot of people like this show, but I think it came at the time where I Tivoed too many shows already.

•Dead Like Me
•Deadwood
•Degrassi: The Next Generation
•Designing Women
•Desperate Housewives
•Dexter
Dharma & Greg
•Different Strokes
Doctor Who - I've only watched the new revival shows with David Tennant and the dude before him.

•Due South
•ER
•Everwood
Everybody Loves Raymond
•Facts of Life
•Family Guy
•Farscape
•Fawlty Towers
•Felicity
Firefly - yes, still one of my favorite Sci-Fi shows.
Frasier
•Freaks & Geeks

Fringe - so far all of them. Something of a cross between X-Files and Alias.
•Futurama
•Get Smart
•Gilligan’s Island
•Gilmore Girls
•Gossip Girl
Grey’s Anatomy - another husband/wife thing.
•Grange Hill
Growing Pains - parallel to Full House one of the first sitcoms I saw coming to America.
•Gunsmoke
Happy Days - Heeeeeeey!
Hercules: the Legendary Journeys - Loved it. Silly and fun. Never took itself too seriously that why I stuck with it. It even had Bruce Campbell guest starring a lot.
Heroes - I still watch it. Following Noah Bennet's story arc for the most part. One of the more conflicting and interesting characters.
•Home Improvement
•Homicide: Life on the Street
•House
•I Dream of Jeannie
•I Love Lucy
•Invader Zim
•Invasion
Hell’s Kitchen - first season only
•JAG
•Jackass
Joey - I did, the whole single season it lasted.
•Kim Possible
Knight Rider - Are you kidding me. I don't think I watched every single episode but I watched quite a few of then. Loved The Hoff in that one. I think I started to watch it because I watched Baywatch.
Knight Rider: 2008 - I gave it a shot, and stopped right after the third episode. It just was not good.
Kung Fu
Kung Fu: The Legend Continues
•La Femme Nikita
•LA Law
•Laverne and Shirley
•Law and Order
•Law and Order: SVU
•Law and Order: CI
Leverage - I actually like it. It's smart and funny.
•Little House on the Prairie
•Lizzie McGuire
Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman - I watched it a lot.

•Lost in Space
•M*A*S*H
MacGyver - not as many shows as I wished I did.

•McLeod's Daughters -
•Melrose Place
•Miami Vice
•Mission: Impossible

Power Rangers - Don't ask. I did not have social life in high school.
•Press Gang
•Prison Break
Private Practice - another husband/wife thing.
•Privileged
•Profiler
•Project Runway
Psych - Because it was following Monk, I watched it. I like the sillyness of the show. Although I do not get a lot of 80's 70's cultural references and homages.
•Pushing Daisies
Quantum Leap - one of the first true Sci-Fi shows I've followed in America
•Queer As Folk (US)
•Queer as Folk (UK)

•ROME
•Roseanne

Seaquest DSV - I watched a lot of it. Later season became a dissapointment.

•Slings and Arrows
Smallville - I watched first couple of seasons. Can't pass by a superman story.
•So Weird
•South of Nowhere
•South Park - I never understood the funnyness.
Spongebob Squarepants - The 5 Year Old went through a Spongebob phase. Because it's a cartoon, I followed along.
•St. Elsewhere
Star Trek - Because I was spoiled by TNG, TOS never became a most favorite of ST.
Star Trek: The Next Generation - absolute favorite of all the Startreks.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - I liked it a lot as well, although the staticness(is this a word) of being on a single station was a drawback.
Star Trek: Voyager - Gave up after two season, just was not interesting at all.

•The Beverly Hillbillies
The Big Bang Theory - Every monday. From a geek's standpoint, this show appeals to me on so many levels it hurts.
•The Brady Bunch
The Cosby Show
The Daily Show - Here's the interesting part. I watched it with Craig Kilborne and stopped watching after John Steward took over. Everybody is saying that Steward's show is better. Go figure.

Things you never cared to know about Mayonnaise

I have decided to start a new Rubric. Once a week I will write a post about a random subject. Having the subject coming out of MY head, it can be about anything. I constantly have a lot of random "Why?" and "How does?" questions floating around in my head. I will try to explain how I arrived to the subject at hand and promise to do diligent research on Wikipedia and provide you, the unfortunate reader, with either the interesting or unusual bits of info. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! In addition to that I have a slight fetish for trivia. The rubric will be called: Things you never cared to know about Today's topic is Mayonnaise . How did I arrive to that? As I was making breakfast in the morning, I decided that I wanted to take a pita pocket and stuff it with something. The pitas are usually fairly dry, and you have to toast them. I did not have Hummus or Babaganoush (GOD! I just love saying BA-BA-GA-NOUSHHHHHHHHH!) I put a little Mayo inside to soften it up. So, ther

Crazy ideas - UPDATED

Here's a crazy survey I thought off. If you had a time machine where would you travel first? Assuming the fact of course of universal invincibility. ----UPDATE---- As my brother mentioned, with time travel universally available getting rich schemes would be less than doable. My aim is more towards investigating great mysteries of history. Therefore: a. To the Big Bang b. To see an asteroid killing dinosaurs c. To see the exodus of Jews as it really happened d. Try to see if Jesus hubbub really happened e. Forget the past, I'd go to the year 2020 to see who winds World Series and place a bet accordingly. f. Suggested by Ilya . Back a day or to to purchase winning lottery ticket. e. Try to see if Atlantis existed. f. Travel to the future to see the explosion of our Sun. I am torn between the dinosaurs and the World Series. Please suggest the choices. Should I add Buddha and Muhammed to the list as well? From the curiousity stand-point. I still rather see the dinosaurs.

Olympics

I watched the opening ceremony over the weekend (after all these years i still rave about TiVo). Am I the only one who is intimidated by the sheer amount of human power involved in the theatrics? I was impressed and a little scared at the same time. Paranoia kicking-in. Did they do that on purpose, to show how much cheap labor they can employ, to pull almost anything off?
