Jason's Child of TV meme.

Thank you Mr. Bennion for this meme. Now I have been a victim of American televison for only a short period of time, less than 20 years actully. But I do watch a lot of television, always have and always will (unless they invent a technology where I can beam programming directly into my brain).

Without further delay, with some notes if a show is worthy of such:

Bold if I've seen the at least 3 episodes. Italics if I am pretty sure I watched every single one.

•24 - Never got around to watch it.
•7th Heaven
Alias - Jack Bristow is the best super-spy there is, and an excellent father figure. Plus, Jenny Garner.
•American Gothic
•America’s Next Top Model - I know it might be shovinistic to the extreme, but whats not to like about a show with pretty girls, often enough in bikinis.
•Arrested Development
Babylon 5 - Yes, I have seen all the episodes. I still occasionaly do on Hulu.
Batman: The Animated Series
Battlestar Galactica (the old one) - I did watch the reruns somwhere couple of times, but never caught on.
•Battlestar Galactica (the new one)
Baywatch - oh gees. One of the first "dramas" I have seen coming to the state. Pamela Anderson running...
Beverly Hills 90210 (original) - yes I did.
Bonanza - watched seevral reruns. The theme song has been stuck in my head for 20 years now.
•Bones - a lot of people like this show, but I think it came at the time where I Tivoed too many shows already.
•Bosom Buddies
Boston Legal - I think the is the first lawyer drama that I watched religiously. The Shat was awesome.
•Boy Meets World
Brothers And Sisters - it's a husband and wife viewing thing.
•Buffy the Vampire Slayer
•Chappelle’s Show
•Charlie’s Angels
Cheers - I did watch a lot of episodes, but in syndication.
Chuck - I think it's funny.
•Clarissa Explains it All
•Commander in Chief
•Crossing Jordan
•CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
•CSI: Miami
•Curb Your Enthusiasm
Dark Angel - I did watch the first season. Ask me what was it about.
•Dark Skies
•DaVinci’s Inquest
•Dawson’s Creek
•Dead Like Me
•Degrassi: The Next Generation
•Designing Women
•Desperate Housewives
Dharma & Greg
•Different Strokes
Doctor Who - I've only watched the new revival shows with David Tennant and the dude before him.
Dragnet - I watched the updated version maybe 5-6 years ago. It had Ed O'Neil as Friday I think.
•Due South
Everybody Loves Raymond
•Facts of Life
•Family Guy
•Fawlty Towers
Firefly - yes, still one of my favorite Sci-Fi shows.
•Freaks & Geeks
Friends - I think i saw every episode. Never bothered with the living logistics.
Fringe - so far all of them. Something of a cross between X-Files and Alias.
•Get Smart
•Gilligan’s Island
•Gilmore Girls
•Gossip Girl
Grey’s Anatomy - another husband/wife thing.
•Grange Hill
Growing Pains - parallel to Full House one of the first sitcoms I saw coming to America.
Happy Days - Heeeeeeey!
Hercules: the Legendary Journeys - Loved it. Silly and fun. Never took itself too seriously that why I stuck with it. It even had Bruce Campbell guest starring a lot.
Heroes - I still watch it. Following Noah Bennet's story arc for the most part. One of the more conflicting and interesting characters.
•Home Improvement
•Homicide: Life on the Street
•I Dream of Jeannie
•I Love Lucy
•Invader Zim
Hell’s Kitchen - first season only
Joey - I did, the whole single season it lasted.
•Kim Possible
Knight Rider - Are you kidding me. I don't think I watched every single episode but I watched quite a few of then. Loved The Hoff in that one. I think I started to watch it because I watched Baywatch.
Knight Rider: 2008 - I gave it a shot, and stopped right after the third episode. It just was not good.
Kung Fu
Kung Fu: The Legend Continues
•La Femme Nikita
•LA Law
•Laverne and Shirley
•Law and Order
•Law and Order: SVU
•Law and Order: CI
Leverage - I actually like it. It's smart and funny.
•Little House on the Prairie
•Lizzie McGuire
Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Superman - I watched it a lot.
•Lost - I've never seen the first episodes, and then I thought the storyline was lost for me.
•Lost in Space
MacGyver - not as many shows as I wished I did.
•Malcolm in the Middle
Married… With Children - Again one of the first American sitcoms I've seen. I still love to watch re-runs once in a while
•McLeod's Daughters -
•Melrose Place
•Miami Vice
•Mission: Impossible
•Mod Squad
Monk - for the last 4 or 5 seasons I followed it religiously. Too bad it's over. One of the few smart and funny detective shows out there.
•Mork & Mindy
Murphy Brown
•My Life As A Dog
•My Three Sons
•My Two Dads
•Ned Bigby’s Declassified School Survival Guide
Nip/Tuck - wife watches it. I can't take the crazyness.
•One Tree Hill
Perry Mason - I remember the blond dude getting whacked over the head every single episode.
Power Rangers - Don't ask. I did not have social life in high school.
•Press Gang
•Prison Break
Private Practice - another husband/wife thing.
•Project Runway
Psych - Because it was following Monk, I watched it. I like the sillyness of the show. Although I do not get a lot of 80's 70's cultural references and homages.
•Pushing Daisies
Quantum Leap - one of the first true Sci-Fi shows I've followed in America
•Queer As Folk (US)
•Queer as Folk (UK)
•Remington Steele
•Rescue Me
•Road Rules
Sanctuary - I've tried because they have Amanda Tapping of the SG-1
•Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?
Scrubs - I think once it was sold of from NBC, they should have stopped it. Although I can't give up yet.
Seaquest DSV - I watched a lot of it. Later season became a dissapointment.
•Sex and the City
•Six Feet Under
•Slings and Arrows
Smallville - I watched first couple of seasons. Can't pass by a superman story.
•So Weird
•South of Nowhere
•South Park - I never understood the funnyness.
Spongebob Squarepants - The 5 Year Old went through a Spongebob phase. Because it's a cartoon, I followed along.
•St. Elsewhere
Star Trek - Because I was spoiled by TNG, TOS never became a most favorite of ST.
Star Trek: The Next Generation - absolute favorite of all the Startreks.
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - I liked it a lot as well, although the staticness(is this a word) of being on a single station was a drawback.
Star Trek: Voyager - Gave up after two season, just was not interesting at all.
Star Trek: Enterprise - It lasted onyl two seasons. Scott Bacula made an excellent captain.
•Stargate Atlantis - SG1 was enough. Introducing a new all powerful enemy species was a bust in my opinion.
Stargate SG-1 - Maybe even all of them.
•Starsky & Hutch
Taxi - watched some re-runs.
•Teen Titans
•That 70’s Show
•That’s So Raven
•The 4400

•The Amazing Race
•The Andy Griffith Show
The A-Team - Oh, yeah! Not all of them, but certainly tried to catch an episode weekly.
•The Avengers
•The Beverly Hillbillies
The Big Bang Theory - Every monday. From a geek's standpoint, this show appeals to me on so many levels it hurts.
•The Brady Bunch
The Cosby Show
The Daily Show - Here's the interesting part. I watched it with Craig Kilborne and stopped watching after John Steward took over. Everybody is saying that Steward's show is better. Go figure.
•The Dead Zone
•The Dick Van Dyke Show
•The Flintstones
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
•The Golden Girls

•The Six Million Dollar Man
•The Sopranos
•The Suite Life of Zack and Cody
•The Twilight Zone
•The Waltons
•The West Wing
The Wonder Years
The X-Files - God, I loved that show. Wacthed it every week, even hooked my wife on it. Why did they have to kill the Lone Rangers.
Third Watch - I remember the name. After looking it up on the internets, I remembered. Good premise of combining cops, fireghters, and emergency. Never went anywhere.
Three’s Company•Twin Peaks
•Twitch City
•Ugly Betty
•Veronica Mars
Whose Line is it Anyway? (US) - it's too bad it wasn't widely shown. Brilliant show.

Crazy ideas - UPDATED

Here's a crazy survey I thought off. If you had a time machine where would you travel first? Assuming the fact of course of universal invincibility. ----UPDATE---- As my brother mentioned, with time travel universally available getting rich schemes would be less than doable. My aim is more towards investigating great mysteries of history. Therefore: a. To the Big Bang b. To see an asteroid killing dinosaurs c. To see the exodus of Jews as it really happened d. Try to see if Jesus hubbub really happened e. Forget the past, I'd go to the year 2020 to see who winds World Series and place a bet accordingly. f. Suggested by Ilya . Back a day or to to purchase winning lottery ticket. e. Try to see if Atlantis existed. f. Travel to the future to see the explosion of our Sun. I am torn between the dinosaurs and the World Series. Please suggest the choices. Should I add Buddha and Muhammed to the list as well? From the curiousity stand-point. I still rather see the dinosaurs.

Weekly posting

I have been super busy with work and school these couple of weeks. I think the Innovation and Risk class has wrung me out more than any other (that includes Accounting and Finance). The paper is done. For some stupid reason I did not ask for help on the budgets from people who are close to me and know a lot of stuff about budgeting and feasibility until almost the last moment. I think my brain was fried or something. The only thing that is left is the Disruptive innovation presentation. What my team and I decided to do is to create an online service for aspiring movie makers, basically trying to change the way that independent films are made and distributed. If it ever comes to anything remember, you heard it here first. Oh, yeah. Lots already has been written about this years Superbowl. One thing to mention is that I really really wanted to see Favre against Manning. Two super QBs. I have nothing agains Brees, he's having a season of a lifetime, and what he did for Saints is
